It’s time to decorate your home. You have an idea of what you want but are stuck and cannot move forward. You need a bit of help. You’ve made Pinterest boards and filled online shopping carts, but you haven’t bought anything yet. It’s a large investment and you want to be sure you are making great choices. With 12 years of interior design experience in Chicago, I can help you get the result you want.
During an in-home visit, we will look at your mood boards, fabric swatches, paint samples, etc. and I will guide you toward a completed room with YOUR personality. I come with a no judgement approach because I know that there is value and beauty to be found in every style. You just need to know how to put the pieces together.
I collaborate with contractors.
Did you hire a contractor already and you want me to go over the selections and plans for your remodel to make sure it fits your lifestyle and will give you the result you want? I can do that too. I collaborate with contractors all the time. Think of me as your insurance policy! A short meeting can save you thousands of dollars worth of unhappiness.
Fees.

2 hours - $250

Who am I?
My story begins like so many others. I was tired of the 9 to 5 job I had, and I wanted something that stirred my soul instead of slowly killing me. I had developed a deep love of space planning, color, texture and furnishings and it was time to see where that would take me. So, in 2008, I quit my job and never looked back.
Now, after nearly 12 years in the design industry, I look back on many of the hats I have worn on my journey - furniture salesman, general contractor, small business owner, designer, and now, interior design consultant.
What is an interior design consultant?
During my career, I have met with hundreds of clients and I found that most people have a general idea of what they want, and they don’t feel that interior designer fees are worth it. They want to DIY their experience. I support that, but in most cases, the client comes to a crossroads and they need someone seasoned to keep them on budget, on schedule, and make sure that the contractor they hired has their best interest at heart. They need an experienced designer to come in and navigate the process. That is where I come in. Adam Zollinger Interiors will offer you as much or as little guidance as you want to pay for, all in hourly increments.
